Background

The Alma Tavern had been derelict for years, previously occupied by squatters and damaged by a severe flood. Vidette UK Ltd was tasked with restoring the building to a safe, habitable, and commercially viable condition.

Scope of Works

  • Flood Remediation: Drying, treating, and repairing saturated timber and plaster to prevent future damp or mold.
  • Reconfiguration & Fit-Out: Refurbished staff and managerial accommodation, relocated office, and optimized operational space.
  • Trading Areas: New flooring, decorative joinery, and a complete redecoration in a traditional pub style.
  • Facilities: Upgraded and reconfigured WCs, including a new accessible toilet.
  • Technology Integration: Installed AV systems and CCTV for security and entertainment.
